Toddler friendly smoothies with hidden veggies

One of the best ways to help your toddler and kids eat more fruits and vegetables is to pack them into smoothies. By starting with one master smoothie recipe and varying it based on what your kids like!

How to:

  1. Choose your milk such as almond/ coconut milk.
  2. Choose a ripe banana plus an extra fruit- whatever is their favourite!
  3. Choose a veggie.
  4. Choose an optional add in to add more protein, fibre, or healthy fats such as an avocado ( these are creamy too)
  5. Blend well until smooth.
  6. Serve it in their favourite cup!

Flavour combinations:

  1. Blueberry Cocoa: Milk / banana / blueberries / spinach / cocoa powder
  2. Strawberry Banana: Milk / banana / strawberries / cauliflower / hemp seeds
  3. Mango Coconut Sweet Potato: Coconut milk / avocado / mango / sweet potato
  4. Honey Peach: Milk / banana / peaches / summer squash / flaxseed
  5. Creamsicle: Yogurt / banana / orange / butternut squash
  6. Tropical Greens: Milk / banana / kiwi / kale / chia seeds
  7. Cocoa Banana: Milk / banana (1 whole) / spinach / cocoa powder / nut butter
  8. Tangy Peach: Kefir (instead of milk) / banana / peach / honey / cauliflower
  9. Cinnamon Apple: Milk / banana / apple / summer squash / dash cinnamon Strawberry Beet: Milk / avocado / strawberries / beets / maple syrup
