Today we are sharing the story of Sue Ashenden and her growing Buggy Beat club launched this Spring:
“I am a mum of 4 ever growing boys, a fitness instructor, run my own business- BodyFit For ALL and I also help my husband run his business from home.
I LOVE to exercise, I always have but a few years ago I was 4 stones overweight, tired, a busy mum, a nanny (had been since I was 17!), sick with Thyroid cancer (whilst pregnant with my third son) and generally felt life was tough!!! I finally got the amazing news I was cancer free from the hospital and decided enough was enough, I started going to a weight loss and exercise class. It took a good few years to stick at it, juggling the children and work but I lost weight, gained confidence and took the big leap to train as a fitness instructor- I have NEVER looked back. I am now healthy and LOVE my job!!
I currently teach a range of classes from Aerobics, Clubbercise and HITT to Buggy Beat and Fella’s Fitness – a men only circuit class for the gentleman who feels he doesn’t want to join a gym but would like to work out!
I have to say I LOVE teaching BUGGY BEAT!!! I love being outdoors, surrounded by mums and theirs babes, exercising and hopefully encouraging mums to enjoy fitness, whether it’s for the first time or helping them getting back in shape!”
