Free Family Activities For The Summer Holidays

We have more activity ideas for you this Summer and they are all FREE!

We know how hard it can be keeping the kids entertained over the holidays so we are here to help with some ideas:

  1. Play party games/ board / card games- these don’t have to be kept stored away until Christmas time!
  2. Head to a museum (great for rainy days)
  3. Make a book- Buy some scrapbooks and get the kids to write and draw pictures on a theme
  4. Browse and stack up on books at your local library – check out their storytelling and craft events
  5. Have a family quiz- make sure there’s a small prize to get everyone into the competitive spirit
  6. Go walking somewhere new.
  7. Take the dog for on a walk (or borrow someone else’s)
  8. Visit the pet shop and see all the baby animals
  9. Hop on a train and visit a nearby village or town
  10. Skim stones across a pond
  11. Get the kids out in the garden on a bug search
  12. Try some gardening together
  13. Head out on a family bike ride

We hope this has given you plenty of ideas!
