Local Fitness Professional Rachel Holmes is the Creator of the UK”s first BUGGY BEAT class and is training Instructors to launch Buggy Beat classes locally in their areas.
Being a busy parent and looking after little ones often means going to the gym just doesn’t happen
Getting your toddler ready, loading up the car, driving to the gym, leaving your toddler in the crèche or with baby sitter can be such a mountain to climb that
with all the best intentions you just don’t get there.
Buggy Beat makes that all so much easier.
In 2018 fitting your workout into a busy lifestyle is paramount which is why Buggy Beat classes are so popular.
Buggy Beat is an outdoor cross training class for parents where baby comes along with you in the pushchair.
Sessions are taken outdoors in local parks and open spaces and includes warm up, cardio training, strength and flexibility. Its the perfect way to exercise in a group
having fun, with your little one close by.
Sessions are totally inclusive, not just for mums but dads, grandparents, guardians, brothers and sisters everyone who cares for a little one is welcome
to join in.
Buggy Beat is the brainchild of Rachel Holmes an International Fitness Educator who after having her son wanted to join an outdoor cross training class,
to keep fit, meet other parents without the hassle of expensive childcare.
“Getting outside with the Buggy in a group is so much fun and when you have a motivating Instructor it’s a class that you look forward to every week”
Says Rachel
“There is no such thing as bad weather just the wrong outfit and we go out in all weathers – we just wrap up and go for it!”
The link between regular exercise and positive mental health, increased productivity and efficiency is an amazing benefit PLUS modelling to your little one how important regular exercise is
makes Buggy Beat a win-win.
“We get stay at home dads, grandparents even nannies and childminders” Says Rachel
Everyone is so welcome and if you have recently had a baby once you have had medical clearance you will be welcomed and cared for.
